Declare Your Independence from Clutter!

Usacanadaflags2Happy Canada Day today to our Canadian readers! And here in the USA we are celebrating Independence Day this Friday. What if you declared independence from your stuff--forever? What if you could just walk away from everything and start over? Consider Ian Usher at www.alife4sale.com, the man in Australia who this past Sunday “sold his life” on eBay for $399k (Australian dollars). He sold his house and everything in it, including all of his "toys" like a JetSki and kitesailing gear.

I just wrote an article about this for Connections for Women, which you can read by clicking here. The article outlines our plan for getting some freedom from your clutter without selling it all like Ian Usher. (Thanks to my friend Clyde at Technology Mischief for telling me about this!)

What do you think: Would this kind of freedom scare you or invigorate you?

I love this! Since trying to sell our house, I have really appreciated the simplicity of living minimally. Great article, thanks for sharing!
