Great series Lorie! The gift cards are especially easy to misplace! My biggest challenge is the store/not store leftover building materials from home renovation projects. I have more nails and screws than home depot! Can I melt them down for cash? LOL...seriously, any great tips for DIY set would be great! Thanks!

    Hi Scott,

I would recommend talking to Habitat for Humanity to find out if they can use your collection of building materials, then taking an appropriate tax deduction for that donation.
