I hear the collective groan out there... but admit it, it's really funny in an elementary school kind of way. Here's the point though-- Are you waiting for the perfect time to do something? The perfect time may not exist.
You may be waiting for things to be perfect before you make that call, start that exercise routine, go to that networking group, or start getting organized. Sometimes you just have to make it happen and carve out the time. Get up earlier, stay up later, stop watching TV, rearrange your carpool schedule, or put something else aside. Don't wait until you've lost ten pounds, until the kids leave home, or you've studied every possible angle. Life is too short!
Don't let the "All or Nothing Thinking" of perfectionism hold you back from doing it-- just make it "Good Enough" and plunge ahead. And with that, I am ending this post because it's Good Enough... Have a great day!

I often think I don't have time to complete my "chores" for the day (like today). Since I joined the Clutter Diet, I've learned that many of the tasks that I would procrastinate on for---ever, really don't take that much time to complete. Thanks to the Clutter Diet, I don't procrastinate (as much) and I get a lot more done in a lot less time. I guess you could say I'm a Clutter Diet junkie :)

How right you are about the perfect time! On a deeper level, I was waiting for the perfect time to ask my SO to marry me. Yep, had to be me because I have been the hold up for 5 years...what a patient man! Any way, finally in December I realized life was too short, I needed to create that time, that the "perfect" time just doesn't appear out of nowhere. You are absolutely right Lorie, I can apply that same thought process to the daily tasks at hand. So what is it that drives us to the desire to have that perfect moment to accomplish a goal? When you get that (and I think Clutterdiet.com can!)you will bring order to so many people! Great food for thought. Thank you.
