There are so many things I want to say from the last few weeks--it's been hard to decide what to write next. So, I am going to just blurt out a bunch of things at once (and probably not do them all justice). But I want to share all of this with you... and then I'll write a proper post.
The High-Calorie Clutter post I wrote earlier was actually done in New York as a TV segment for Better TV (Better Homes & Gardens/Meredith Corporation--seen all over the USA). You can watch the segment here!

Our Simple Division® Garment Organizers closet product was featured this week on the Rachael Ray show! They did a closet makeover segment and featured these clothes dividers very prominently. Thanks, everyone, for all the orders! They are available in our store here, or if you want you can pick them up at your local Container Store in the closet section.

My friends at WeekDate have a new product that is very clever. It's the "I Need From" shopping list, pictured here (click image for larger version). It allows you to have tabbed sections for different stores. I would have Costco, Target, HEB (Austin grocery store) and Other for my tabs-- how about you? I will give one of these away in a random drawing next week-- to enter, write a comment here on this post!
- Speaking of Costco... I am interviewed in an article for the newest Costco Connection magazine (February issue). They did a great job telling people about my new book, and I really appreciate that! You can read the article here. If you have the magazine, I'm on page 28.
- My books are here! We are shipping 'em out. They will be in bookstores around March, but we have them now! If you were waiting because we were doing preorders, that time is over, so go ahead and get one. :)
- Organizing your pantry is one of the best things you can do to eat better in the new year. You can get organized, save money, and lose weight all at the same time! Thanks to Nicole at MomTrends for posting an article where I shared my tips for organizing your pantry.

If you bought the new book on the Kindle, we are doing a new, improved version of that very soon that you can re-download for free if you have already purchased it. We are hyperlinking the Table of Contents and working on some of the images that needed to show up better on the Kindle.

Oh, I love that "I Need From" pad. I'm always making a list with several stores. But sometimes I don't get to all the stores on one day, and the list gets lost or thrown away. Perfect!

Hey Laurie... I was reading my Costco Connections the other day and I saw your article. IT WAS FANTASTIC! In the beginning of the year, we see so many articles on organizing, they they all seem to say the same thing, yours did not. You really addressed the realities of getting organized. I am glad to see you have been a busy girl!

The "I Need From" pad is ingenious! I'm always doing the same thing on a piece of notebook paper -- could really use the pad to simplify things!

I'm right there with Melissa - I currently have a piece of paper with a list divided by stores. This list would also be great to divide your list by what part of the store you need to shop in - e.g. grocery, toiletries, office supplies, etc.
